ICC hosted the PCS Membership Meeting held last August 27, 2024 at the Palms Country Club in Alabang Muntinlupa. More than six hundred fifty (650+) PCS and JPCS members participated in the August event to the point that the PCS’ “500 limit” Zoom account no longer accepted late registrants. PCS was able to accommodate more PCS and JPCS members because the JPCS ICC chapter members organized themselves in groups (classroom).
PCS President Mr Titus Manuel talked about “Empathy & Social Skills” which is part of his “EQinIT (Emotional Quotient in Information Technology) Seminar Series. Aside from being one of the seminar speakers, PCS President Mr Titus Manuel inducted the new members of the Philippines Computer Society (PCS).
Tambuli Labs Chief Technology Officer and General Manager Mr Niel Landicho shared his knowledge about “Cyber Risk Assessment”. PCS Vice President Mr Larry Narida inducted the members of the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) Imus Computer College (ICC) Chapter. PCS Trustee & Chairperson (Membership) Ms Magie Antonio was the Master of Ceremonies.
PCS Vice Chairman (Membership) Mr Manny Del Prado introduced the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) Imus Computer College (ICC) Chapter members and the new PCS members present “face to face” during the August membership meeting.
PCS Immediate Past President Mr Edison Diaz, PCS Immediate Vice President Mr Ed Marquez and PCS Treasurer Mr Mar Novencido were likewise present during the event.
The event was likewise an opportunity for IT Professionals gathered during the meeting to meet new friends and network among each other.
Important Notice: ICC President & Founder Mr Manny Del Prado is now the Vice Chairman (Membership Committee) of the Philippine Computer Society. He is encouraging current ICC Working Students (those who are working in BPOs, Overseas, WorkFromHome IT Tasks and in any organization where he/she uses his/her IT skills) and ICC Alumni to apply and become a member of the Philippine Computer Society (PCS). Being a member of the PCS will solidy your status as an IT professional.
ICC Alumni and ICC Working Students who are interested to join the Philippine Computer Society can message their respective branch coordinators and express their intention to join the PCS. Annual Membership for the Philippine Computer Society is only nine hundred pesos (P 900). Once a member, you can attend the PCS’ monthly Professional Development Seminars. Certificates of Attendance are given to the monthly attendees.
